Bobby.

Last month two good friends moved to DC without my permission. Lucky for them it’s not that far from Philly and I can drive down in two shakes. I went down this past weekend to hang out and check out their new city. I happen to like it a lot. Their apartment is amazing and has a view that I’m sure people would fight over. Got to go to my first Zoo (I went to the Bronx Zoo when I lived in NYC but for some reason all the animals were busy) so this was my first real Zoo visit & it was free. There’s actually a bunch of awesome free spots in DC like the Smithsonian, saving that for the next visit. 🙂
I shot a lot but here is my favorite portrait from the weekend. Bobby.

Twistee.

Christine’s is a couple blocks from my house and I fight the urge to go here nightly.

Walkin with Carter.

Remember Carter! I did a post a while back of his sweet face and piercing baby blues. Now he’s inching towards being a 1 year old and I got to hang out with him while he strolled the neighborhood in his walker. Eat em up!

Kristin & Eric – The Engagement.

Meet Kristin & Eric. For their engagement session we met up at Ridley Creek State Park for a few shots at the historic mansion they have on the grounds. Then we headed down to one of their favorite hiking trails and in my head I was thinking, yeah I totally got this. It seems I’m out of shape…or at least I am compared to these two. I’d love to say it was because it was crazy hot out or because I was carrying all my gear, actually that’s exactly what I’ll say. 🙂 Thankfully we had an awesome session and even though I looked a wreck, I had a great time hanging out with these two. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

PS: I went back to the gym and I totally want a rematch…just sayin.

Lauren & Brett – The Engagement.

Meet Lauren & Brett. This awesome couple came to me after shooting Samantha & Kyle’s awesome Wedding. I feel like the ‘click’ was almost instant with these two. If it wasn’t then it sure would have been when we met up for their engagement shoot in Center City Philadelphia. I met the couple at Love park to start the day and the first thing Lauren said to me was ‘Would it be wrong if we got a drink first?’. No, no that would never be wrong. In fact it couldn’t have been more right! It totally loosened them up and when we got out there in that HOT/Humid July heat, most of their nerves were left at the bar. 🙂
