Dee & Ryan – The Wedding.

Meet Dee & Ryan! Again. We first met them in their Engagement Session post earlier this year. They were married at Faunbrook Bed & Breakfast in West Chester, PA just a few short weeks ago and it was beautiful. Everything was right. The weather. The Details. The hilarious wedding party! From readings out of The Soul of Rumi, a book of poems by Coleman Barks, to acoustic music preformed by two close family friends, you could just feel the personal touches that Dee & Ryan put into every part. Oh did I forget to mention that their first dance was a Bollywood Number! Yeah, amazing.

Pieces of Philadelphia. Week 1.

I love her. She was just there…partially torn where someone tried to dispose of her and then gave up. It’s the main reason I was drawn to her in the first place.

Alex – Talking to Strangers.

Meet Alex. I came across him during a walkabout with my friend Lora recently. He works at Kaplans Bakery on North 3rd Street in Philadelphia, PA as a bread carver. The entire block was filled with the smell of sweet bread cooking in the oven. Too bad they were closed by the time we walked past or I would have bought my weight in pastries. Alex was on his break in the delivery truck out back. He was having a cigarette and listening to the radio when I walked up. I asked if he would mind if I took his portrait and he took a drag and laughed through his teeth, saying it was cool as long as he didn’t have to move. Perfect. Take a look.
