Ashley & Jason – The Teaser.

How about a teaser from Ashley & Jason’s Wedding? Not many brides are willing to lay on the ground in their wedding dress to get a good shot but Ashley was up for absolutely anything. I’m glad she was because I love this image.

PIFA – La Compagnie Transe Express

PIFA or The Philadelphia International Festival of the arts which lasted for almost a month, ended on a high note this past Saturday. Pun not intended but happily accepted. Broad street was shut down for about two days and there was a giant street fair filled with Photography, Painting, Those live statues that you stare at until they move, just so you win the game that they don’t know they’re playing, and some pretty amazing acrobatics. On one end of Broad there was a Ferris Wheel, on the other there was a Stage for live music and in the middle rested the giant crane that lifted the final act high into the air. They brought in La Compagnie Transe Express, a French performance group to perform this amazing finale where an orchestra of bells played for multiple acrobatics flipping in the air without a net. It was jaw dropping with that hint of creepy, maybe because their painted faces gave off that clown vibe. Take a look.

I found her in a Copy shop in West Philadelphia.

Kate & Howie – The Teaser.

Here is a little teaser from Kate & Howie’s wedding. They are the perfect example for why I think Engagement Sessions pay off for your wedding day. It’s like practice with extras. You get a day to get all the jitters and willies out that you might have in front of a lens by practicing and there is the extra of hanging out with cool people like the one you’re gonna marry and this guy. (I’m pointing my thumb at myself.) By the time your wedding day gets here you’re a pro. Look how comfortable they are with my camera here. I’m obsessed with this shot.

Kristin & Brian – The Engagement.

Meet Kristin & Brian. We decided to kick off their engagement shoot with a homemade Oreo Shake at The Franklin Fountain, located in Old City in Philadelphia. If you know me, you know I’m the first one to run for the ice cream truck when that jingle hits the wind. So when Brian suggested this spot, I was on board before I finished reading the sentence. It was a great start to an afternoon of hanging out with this awesome couple. Check out some of my favorites from the day.
