Megan & Brendan – The Wedding.

Meet Megan & Brendan! I love a couple who is into taking pictures and with this couple (specifically Megan) we could do this daily. I don’t believe she has ever met a camera she didn’t like. 🙂 They were married at Saint Bridget Church in Philadelphia, PA. This was a full catholic mass and even at the alter she was ready for her closeup! After our amazing 3 hours of picture time around the city we headed to the reception which was held at the City Avenue Hilton Hotel.

Bendan’s per-wedding card to Megan. 🙂 ‘To my Almost Wife’

Michelle & Dave – The Engagement.

Meet Michelle & Dave! They are getting hitched later this year in VEGAS! And even though I can’t be there to shoot the actual ceremony (believe me I would if I could) we will be shooting their Wedding Portraits with the entire wedding party back here in Philly when they get home. 🙂
For their Engagement Session we started at Raw Sushi & Sake Lounge, which is this delicious restaurant located off of Sansom Street, where the couple had their first date. Throughout the day we stopped at a few famous areas in Philly like Love Park and Broad St. but it was the in-between moments that really caught my attention. Outside of the Comcast building there is this little common area where a group of trees shade a few lunch tables. I had the couple sitting at one of the tables and I was shooting them from a distance when I read Dave’s lips as he whispered to Michelle right before he kissed her. He said to her ‘I’m so in love with you right now’. Smooth right?! Such a great moment!!!

Susan & David – The Photo Booth!

For Susan & David’s Wedding they had a Photo Booth Setup which I offer as an add on to my wedding packages. This includes a two light setup with your choice of background and a butt-kickin second photographer to coax the crazy out of you and your guests. There are tons of props to choose from, including wigs, hats, masks, glasses, boas and well more… Also there are a couple dry erase boards in cool shapes for your guests to say what’s on their mind 🙂

Some behind the scenes of David telling Solomon how Silly he Looked 🙂

I’m pretty sure the double tie looks is going to be huge this year.

These little girls lived at the photo booth for about 2 hours.

Susan & David – The Wedding.

Meet Susan & David. We started the day over at the Hotel Dupont in the business district of downtown Wilmington, Delaware. When I walked in, Susan was just about to hop into the makeup chair and she was watching the flower girls who were being pampered by the hairstylist. After some beautiful getting ready shots and we headed over to The Congregation Beth Shalom Synagogue for some First Look time (which you know I love!) and of course the ceremony. One of my favorite shots from the day was right after the ceremony when David’s son Solomon came up to the couple for a hug. Such a great moment and So, So Sweet! The reception was held at Brantwyn Estate which is a fantastic venue and really puts together a fancy party. I could have spent all day shooting the couple on these grounds.

Jess & Jesse – The Washington, DC Engagement.

Meet Jess & Jesse! They are getting married in just a few short weeks now and for there engagement session we hung out at Glen Echo Park in Washington, DC. It had just finished raining right after we got there so you can see some steam rising off the pavement…Love It! Glen Echo has an old style amusement park look to it which made such an interesting backdrop to this good looking couple 🙂
