A little love from a client.

Just a few months ago I shot a family session in Princeton, NJ and my clients, Michael & Karen, just sent me a sweet thank you in the mail! Knowing my love of T-Shirts they sent me this awesome one and I love it! I’m not saying that every client should do this but it does make me love you more…and I’m a large. 🙂

Thanks Michael & Karen!!!

Kelly & Chris – The Wedding.

Meet Kelly & Chris! Kelly is an amazing artist herself and you need to get over to her site asap and check out her work because it’s so good! Their beautiful wedding was held at The Holly Hedge Estates in Bucks County. I’m in love with this venue. It really set a beautiful backdrop to my lovely vintage bride with her striking green eyes and her man, who just can’t get enough of her. As a photographer, obviously an emotional moment where the couple chokes up at the alter is absolute gold. As Chris read what he had written for her, stopping every so often to hold back the tears, Kelly did everything in her power not to jump in his arms. She even went in for the kiss early, which was well deserved after what he said to her. But what sticks out in my mind even now are her vows to him…which he had a part in as well. She talked about the moment she knew he was the one she was going to marry. They were sitting on the couch talking about their relationship and Chris summed it up by saying they were like Spice & Rice. They could both stand on their own and be good, but when you mix them up together they become something great. That’s when she knew it was forever.
I love them. Check out some of my favorites from the day.

The Brooks – Princeton Family Portraits.

Meet the Brooks Family! I met Michael when I lived in NC, on my first day in film school. There was absolutely a friendly rivalry going on between us, throughout that first semester. He is crazy talented and has a razor sharp wit and I feel lucky after all these years to say that he and his wife Karen are like family to me. Almost a year ago they had their beautiful baby girl Lily and I’m telling you right now, she is going to break some hearts when she gets older.
They were in NJ not too long ago visiting family and asked if I would shoot them while they were in town. Heck yes! We met up in Princeton, NJ and shot all along the campus. Check out some of my favorites from the day.

Aiden James.

Meet Aiden James. He’s kind of blowing up right now. His new album, Trouble with this, hit iTunes this past Monday and you can get that here. I shot the images for his album a few months ago on the roof top of an apartment building on the edge of the city. Here we had such an amazing view of the Philadelphia skyline which was the perfect backdrop for the shoot. Check out his cover and some of my favorites from the night.

Grandaddy – 2011.

Here is a portrait of my Grandad that I shot over the Christmas holiday. He was a professional fisherman in South Carolina and while we were down, we went into Calabash for down home southern seafood lunch. Outside of the restaurant was this fishing boat, which I thought would make the perfect backdrop. My favorite part would have to be his suspenders.
